We believe that Jesus is the Savior of the world and that he has called us to trust in Him and to follow Him. While we don’t do this perfectly, we rely on God’s grace to help and guide us.
Our mission is to love like Jesus! We want to love one another and everyone around us through our words and actions, thereby witnessing to Jesus and his gospel.
Here at Heritage Church, we want to consistently and authentically love like Jesus would in all spheres of our lives––not just on Sundays. Along with focuses on prayer, worship, & community, we are committed to walking in three distinct areas that we call the 3 G’s.
We desire to be a people who are grounded in the love of Jesus. We hope to achieve this through understanding our full dependence on Christ and His presence in every aspect of our lives.
We desire to learn from Jesus as we follow Him together in order to become more like Him in every part of life. We do this through worship, studying His Word, and prayer in various group settings.
As stewards of God’s gifts to us we strive to be generous in the name of Jesus. We do this through service within the church, outreach in our community, and missions around the world.
We invite you to explore our beliefs and join us in our pursuit of living out our faith in boldness and passion.
Salvation comes by God’s grace through faith in Jesus! Salvation is not something that can be purchased or earned. It is a free gift from God who made a way for us through Jesus Christ. All who believe that Jesus died on the cross as the atonement for their sin and confess Jesus as their Savior and Lord are saved and are eternally secure in Him.
We believe the Bible consists of the 66 books of the Old and New Testament and is divinely inspired by God, verbally and completely inerrant in the original writings and of supreme and final authority in faith and life.
We believe in one God, eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit. God is the Creator and Sustainer of the universe and everything in it.
We believe that humanity was created in the image of God, that we sinned and thereby incurred not only physical death but also that spiritual death which is separation from God; and that all human beings are born separated from God with a sinful nature.
We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures as a representative and substitutionary sacrifice, and that all who believe in Him are redeemed and justified on the ground of His shed blood.
We believe that Jesus is the head of the church and the local fellowship is to be governed by elders chosen for their service according to biblical qualifications.
We believe the Holy Spirit was sent by the Father as promised to convict the world of sin, to glorify Jesus and to transform the lives of believers into the likeness of Christ.
We believe in the reality and personality of Satan, who attempts to defeat all people through deception. Believers overcome Satan’s schemes by applying biblical truth in the power of the Holy Spirit within them.
We believe the Holy Spirit gives spiritual gifts to each believer to be used for building up the body of Christ according to biblical guidelines and priorities.
We believe in the bodily resurrection of the just and of the unjust, the everlasting blessedness of the saved, and the everlasting conscious punishment of the lost along with Satan and the other fallen angels.
We believe that the Church is a spiritual organism made up of all believers in Christ; that in its local manifestation it is an autonomous assembly of believers; and that its ordinances are baptism and the Lord’s Supper.
We believe in the resurrection of the crucified body of our Lord, His ascension into heaven, and His present life for us as High Priest and Advocate.
